If you have cartridges from older machines you can link these to your Design Space account and have full access to use them with your newer Cricut Machine. The Cricut Maker needs a special adapter to link your cartridges, learn more in my how to article. The Cricut Explore has a cartridge slot so it’s a little easier to link your cartridges, find out how to link your cartridges here.

And so it’s a good idea to pay attention to where it’s going so you don’t lose it. And then you go ahead and extract it, and it will look like this once it’s opened up. The file that was below it, that’s the one that has all the goodies in it. So if you double click on that one or just choose open, you will see that inside there are the files that we want, and you’re looking for the SVG file.

So to unzip it, we right click on it and we do extract all, all right? So you’re right clicking with your mouse and doing extract all. The Projects area is where Cricut displays its many Ready-to-Make projects You can just browse to find something you like. Below that is a row called “Featured Images” from Cricut, highlighting images that Cricut thinks you may find useful.

And so now if I want to just, I can de-select that, but I wanna just select the group now. Now I can move it around as a unit, right? But, when I go to cut it, I’m still not going to get them overlapping. So group is something that we do to keep files together as we’re designing, but not something we do to keep files together all the time.
